Do You Need Electrolytes Every Day?

Electrolyte sachets have become a daily ritual for many women — but is that necessary, or just marketing? The honest answer is: it depends on your day. Here’s how to decide.

When daily makes sense

If you regularly exercise, sweat a lot, live in a hot climate, drink a lot of coffee, or simply struggle to feel hydrated, a daily electrolyte can genuinely help. It’s also useful during illness or travel, when fluid balance is easily disrupted.

When water is enough

On a low-activity, cooler day with a balanced diet, you may get the electrolytes you need from food alone. There’s no need to force a sachet if you feel well-hydrated and energetic.

Listen to your body

Use electrolytes as a tool, not a rule. Reach for Simple Electrolytes on hot, active or heavy-sweat days, and plain water the rest of the time. Knowing the signs of dehydration helps you judge when you need a top-up.
